Dr. Lynch works tirelessly to educate first responders, medical professionals at all levels, and members of the public on numerous topics in emergency and addiction medicine, pre-hospital care techniques, and general medical topics. He regularly lectures throughout New York State and across the country on substance use disorder and effectively linking patients to care. He has given several international lectures and abstract presentations in Sydney (Australia), British Columbia (Canada), Rhodes (Greece), Copenhagen (Denmark), among others. He has served on the faculty at Erie Community College’s paramedic program helping to train the next generation of first responders. Dr. Lynch continues to regularly educate EMS providers on current trends in pre-hospital care, critical care transport, and many other topics.
Dr. Lynch is actively involved in research and is leading MATTERS to provide expedited linkage to treatment and access to medication for addiction treatment across New York State and beyond.
